After choosing the plants from the nursery at Sg Buloh, the clouds rolled in and thunder roared. So, G and I decided to pack up the plants in the car and head off to Kota Damansara for tea. There were many new cafes that sprung up around that area and we've never tried any one of them. So we just popped into one with the nearest parking space. This place is called 888 Cafe. It has a pretty cosy ambiance with clean white decor and dark tables and chairs. The menu was inclined towards Peranakan cuisine but we were there for tea. So, this was what we ordered...
Kopi "O"
A banana split sundae
Banana fritters with gula melaka glazing ala mode
I wasn't sure what this is called but it was complimentary after the waiter saw me taking pictures of our food. It's some sort of mousse dessert. Not bad eh? Hehehehe
A raised platform for diners
Price wise? very affordable for what we got. Will we come again? Definitely!!!!
